5's to take on unbeaten Croydon Lions.

Our 5's will head to Heathervale after a damp week to take on 'new to the league' Croydon Lions (who oddly are based in Byfleet). They seem a strong side having played 3 and won 3 this year, putting 262 runs on Camberley last week before bowling them out for 39.

But what we know and they don't is the variable factor that a damp week at Heathervale brings so with our usual mix of youth & experience the plan is to mix up the bowling and see who's day it is on what can be an absolute roulette of a pitch.

Please arrive for 12:15 to help set up as we have not played there in a while. I'll keep you posted if there is a need to cancel the game given the forecast and will be carrying out a pitch inspection early Saturday morning.
